*THE DIRECTOR, OF THE NYSC SOUTH-WEST AREA OFFICE, VISITS CORPS MEMBERS IN DELTA CAMP*

The  Director of NYSC South-West Area Office, Mr. Amusan,  Oluwole Julius (JP) has visited the corps members of the 2023 Batch B stream 1 currently undergoing their orientation course, in Issele-Uku, Delta State.

During the visit, he inspected the camp facilities and expressed appreciation to the Delta State Government for the various completed and ongoing projects in the camp. 

Mr. Amusan commended the batch of corps members for their level of discipline and conformity and urged them to keep up with their good behaviour.

In his remark, he advised corps members to be committed to the goals of the NYSC and utilize the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of NYSC to be job creators and not job seekers. He admonished corps members to always take proper permission when there is a need to travel and to shun night journeys. He further charged the corps members to build friendships across different tribes, as this is what NYSC stands for, National Unity and Integration.

Earlier on, the State Coordinator Mr. Alao, Olusegun Olaosebikan welcomed the NYSC Director to Delta State. He described the Director as an astute administrator and a fine officer who has transversed the length and breadth of the Scheme. He also gave a brief on the orientation course program.

The corps camp director, Zainab Aduragbemi gave a vote of thanks and appreciated the Director of NYSC South-West Area Office, Mr Amusan Oluwole Julius (JP) for his visit and fatherly counsel to the corps members.

Other highlights of the visit were the inspection of camp facilities, address to corps members, cash rewards to different committees of corps members, and meeting with camp officials.

*CORPS MEMBERS CHEER DG NYSC OVER DONATIONS*

By Uwa Philip The 2023 Batch B stream 1 corps members in Delta State have applauded the Director-General, Brig Gen YD Ahmed FSS, MSS, DSS, MTRCN, MNARC, fdc, fnli, for his donation of two bulls, a ram, and ten chickens as promised One of the bulls donated by the NYSC DG . The Director-General who visited the Orientation Camp recently was pleased with the good reports and good conduct of corps members conduct, hence he pronounced the donation of items for the celebration of their graduation.  The Second bull for corps members' graduation ceremony in Delta State Camp General Ahmed admonished the corps members to strive to be good ambassadors of the scheme by contributing meaningfully towards the upliftment of their host communities, avoiding unauthorized journeys, and being security conscious at all times.
