KITCHEN STAFF GIVEN MEDICAL ATTENTION IN DELTA ORIENTATION CAMP

CROSS SECTION OF KITCHEN STAFF UNDERGOING MEDICAL EXAMINATION DURING THE 2021 BATCH 'A' STREAM 2 ORIENTATION COURSE.

In compliance with the directives of the DG, Brigadier General Ibrahim Shuaibu to staff in ensuring they give priority attention to their health and well being by regular medical check-up in the camp clinic, the medical team in NYSC Delta camp has extended medical attention to the cooks and  kitchen staff.

The importance of health and well-being of camp Officials can not be overemphasized, hence the need to carry-out regular health check-up to assist orientation course participants maintain a healthy life style and increase productivity.

The State Coordinator Mrs Olutayo Samuel (JP) stated that these group of persons are very busy with preparation of meal on daily basis with little or no time to attend to their medical needs, hence the reason for the corps  medical team to reach out to them by carrying out medical check-up and treatment where necessary. The kitchen staff where attended to and admonished most especially on stress related issues. The nature of the assignment of the cooks and kitchen staff hardly give them chance to go to the camp clinic like other course participants.

Highlights was the medical examination of the cooks and kitchen staff and dispensing of drugs by the corps medical team.
