*NPF PIORITIZE CORPS MEMBERS SECURITY IN DELTA STATE*

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Delta State Command has prioritized security of corps members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

This was made known during the security visit of Mr. Faleye S. Olaleye, Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations (DCP) in Delta State to NYSC orientation camp during the 2021 Batch 'A' Stream 2 Orientation Course. He assured the management of the Scheme that security measures are in place to ensure a hitch free orientation course for the three weeks induction programme. He also promised that the officers and men of NPF will not rest their oars in ensuring the safety of corps members in camp and other corps locations in the State.

DCP Faleye S.O admonished men of the Nigeria Police Force and other sister agencies on assignment in camp to intensify efforts in increase surveillance and patrols during the orientation programme. He stated that the Nigeria Police Force has zero tolerance to crimes and men of the NPF should be very vigilant and give in their professional services in protecting lives and properties. He further encouraged them to give in their best practices needed for safety of course participants and promised their emoluments be paid to them as at when due.

The State Coordinator Mrs Olutayo Samuel (JP) thanked the Commissioner of Police in the State CP Ari Mohammed Ali, Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force for supporting the NYSC Scheme in Delta State. She appreciated the DCP Operations Mr. Faleye S. Olaleye for the visit, which is a moral booster to Officer and men of the Nigeria Police Force on camp.

The State Coordinator requested for more security on the day of closing the orientation course programme coming up two weeks from today.
