#* NYSC DELTA CAMP CLINIC RECEIVE'S MEDICAL CONSUMABLES, AS CORPS MEDICAL GROUP DONATE'S WATER DISPENSER*#

State Coordinator Mr Alao Olusegun O. receiving donation of medical consumables from representative of the Nigerian Naval Medical Centre, Ogorode Sapele at his office in Orientation camp.

The Nigerian Naval Medical Centre domiciled in Naval Engineering College Ogorede, Sapele has donated some medical consumables to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Delta State recently during the ongoing 2021 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course, in Issele-Uku.

The Surgeon Commander D.I Adebayo made the donation through the Leading Medical Assistant LMA I.O Okafor at the State Coordinator's Office in the orientation camp.

The Commander appreciated the NYSC Scheme and prayed for a robust synergy between the Nigerian Naval Medical Centre in Ogorode and NYSC.

Similarly, the 2021 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Medical Group led by the Corps Medical Director Dr. Idoko Kingsley Odinaka DT/21B/3348 donated a water dispenser to the  Camp Clinic. The group stated that, they find it challenging to always trek a distance to get drinkable water when on duty at the camp clinic hence the need to acquire a Nexus Water Dispenser to address the felt need of corps medical personnel.

The NYSC Delta State Coordinator Mr. Alao Olusegun O. thanked the Nigerian Naval Medical Centre in Ogorode for reaching out to the Scheme with some medical consumables. He stated that the collaboration between the NYSC Scheme and the Naval Medical Centre is such that has assisted the operations of both agencies in the State. 

The State Coordinator prayed for the sustenance of the robust synergy between the NYSC Scheme and the Nigerian Naval Medical Centre in Ogorode.

Mr. Alao Olusegun O, also appreciated the efforts of the Corps Medical Group in the Camp Clinic for the donation of Nexus Water Dispenser which will be very beneficial to the Camp Clinic and the next batch of Corps Medical Personnels.

The State Coordinator visibly elated  commended the batch of Corps Medical Group for reaching out to meet the need of the Camp Clinic and thereafter, he charged the medical group to key into the second phase of the NYSC Health Inniatetive for Rural Dwellers (HIRD) coming up soon.

Highlights were the donation of the medical consumables, Water Dispenser and taking of group photographs.
