NYSC HIRD: Obi Elunor Supports NYSC with Hundred Thousand Naira Worth of Drugs in Delta State.

The Head of Mile 5 Community in Anwai town, Obi Barrister Muhammad Nduka Elunor has supported National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with one hundred thousand naira worth of drugs for the upcoming Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers (HIRD) in his community.

The second phase of the (HIRD) will be taking place in Mile 5 Community of Anwai town on Monday 27th - Thursday 30th of September and  is expected to benefit other rural Communities in the area. The NYSC Medical Outreach with supports from well meaning Nigerians like the leader of the Community will be complementing those sourced for the benefit of the Community.

Representing the Leader of the Community, the Chairman Outreach Planning Committee from the Medical and Health Community Development Service (CDS) group Dr. Chidike Ezegwui DT/20B/0423 presented the cash donation to NYSC Management at the Orientation Camp.

While receiving the cash donation, the NYSC Delta State Coordinator Mr Alao Olusegun O. thanked the leader of the host Community for accepting the NYSC Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers in his community and a cash donation to support the initiative is highly commendable.

The State Coordinator remains optimistic that the HIRD programme will benefit Members of the host community, as he called on the leaders of the community to mobilize their people in mass to partake in the NYSC HIRD.

Mr. Alao also called on the citizens of the State to support the NYSC HIRD programme to reach out to the poor of rural communities in the State.
