*2023 BATCH B STREAM 1 IN CAMP SAED TRAINING COMES TO AN END*

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Delta State Coordinator Mr. Alao, Olusegun Olaosebikan has congratulated the corps members who undertook the in-camp training during the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme in camp. He called on them to register for the post-camp training for continuity and to perfect the various skills acquired.

The State Coordinator, said the above during the closing ceremony of the SAED in-camp training and exhibitions of corps members, finished products. He stated that the skills acquired through the SAED programme will go a long way at cushioning the effect of unemployment during and after the service year. He reiterated that no one source of income is enough to meet the demands of life.
Mr. Alao congratulated them for their resilience and efforts in undergoing the SAED training programme and urged other corps members to key into the programme instead of being indecisive as there is no gain without pain.
The SAED programme had various skills subsets centered on Agro Allied, Food Processing, Culture and Tourism, ICT, Construction, Environment, Power and Energy, Education, Film and Photography, Beautification, and Automobile among others.
The State Coordinator thanked the SAED facilitators for putting in their best to assist the corps members in becoming self-reliant.
Earlier on, the Head of the SAED branch, an Assistant Director, Mrs. Akuagbaogu Ngozi Rosemary advised the corps members to put all they have learned into practice. She urged them to register their business and consider the various funding options.
She congratulated the corps members for their achievement as corps entrepreneurs and wished them success in their business ventures.
Highpoint of the Closing/Exhibition ceremony was the display of different handmade finished products, an inspection of SAED products, and practical competition in five different skill areas.
