By Uwa Philip The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Delta State Coordinator  Mr. Alao, Olusegun Olaosebikan has congratulated the corps members who undertook the in-camp training during the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme in camp. He called on them to register for the post-camp training for continuity and to perfect the various skills acquired. State Coordinator Mr. Alao Olusegun Olaosebikan admiring one of the SAED products during the closing and exhibition day . The State Coordinator, said the above during the closing ceremony of the SAED in-camp training and exhibitions of corps members, finished products. *NYSC ORGANIZES DRILLS COMPETITION TO PROMOTE SELF-DISCIPLINE AND TEAMWORK.*

By Uwa Philip The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Delta State in collaboration with the Nigerian Army has organized the 2023 Batch B Stream 1 Inter-platoon Drills Competition to promote self-discipline and teamwork among Corps members. Cross section of corps members on parade during the 2023 Batch B Stream 1 inter-platoon Drills Competition held in Delta Camp . As part of activities lined up at the end of camp, corps members have demonstrated the beauty and uniqueness of Nigerian cultures. This was showcased during the Cultural Carnival that was held at the Pavillion in issele- Uku camp to drive home the purpose of national integration through acceptance of other diverse cultures. The Director-General who visited the Orientation Camp recently was pleased with the good reports and good conduct of corps members conduct, hence he pronounced the donation of items for the celebration of their graduation.  The Second bull for corps members' graduation ceremony in Delta State Camp General Ahmed admonished the corps members to strive to be good ambassadors of the scheme by contributing meaningfully towards the upliftment of their host communities, avoiding unauthorized journeys, and being security conscious at all times. The  Director of NYSC South-West Area Office, Mr. Amusan,  Oluwole Julius (JP) has visited the corps members of the 2023 Batch B stream 1 currently undergoing their orientation course, in Issele-Uku, Delta State. During the visit, he inspected the camp facilities and expressed appreciation to the Delta State Government for the various completed and ongoing projects in the camp.  Mr. Amusan commended the batch of corps members for their level of discipline and conformity and urged them to keep up with their good behaviour.
